TeamViewer connects over 600 million devices globally, enabling people and businesses to work securely and efficiently from anywhere. As Director of Software Development, you will lead the engineering teams behind the connectivity foundation of TeamViewer Remote, Tensor, and ONE.

Build High-Impact Teams: Hire, mentor, and grow engineering leaders; foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Requirements Proven Leadership: 10+ years in software development, 5+ years leading multiple teams and managers.

Responsibilities Shape the Future of Remote Connectivity! This is your opportunity to own technology that powers global connectivity, drive an AI-first strategy, and deliver solutions trusted by enterprises, MSPs, and individuals in over 180 countries.

Lead with Vision: Define and execute the roadmap for Remote Access & Control—low-latency streaming, secure connectivity, and cross-platform performance. Drive AI Innovation: Embed AI/ML into product features and engineering workflows for smarter, adaptive experiences and faster troubleshooting.

Architect for Scale: Oversee distributed, real-time systems architecture; ensure reliability, security, and performance at global scale. Champion Security: Implement secure‑by‑design principles and compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR.

Collaborate Across Functions: Partner with Product, Security, and Operations to deliver enterprise-ready solutions. Own Operational Excellence: Improve CI/CD, observability, and incident response; optimize for speed without sacrificing stability. Technical Depth: Experience building distributed, real-time, or networking‑heavy software systems.

Domain Expertise: Preferred background in remote connectivity or real-time streaming technologies. AI Proficiency: Hands‑on experience integrating AI/ML into products or engineering workflows. Security Mindset: Familiarity with secure coding practices and compliance frameworks.

Zero‑Trust & Compliance: Strong understanding of zero‑trust security principles and enterprise compliance requirements. Influence & Communication: Ability to articulate technical concepts to executives and stakeholders.
