🤖 Director Project Management – Warehouse Automation📍 Germany (Remote) | Travel up to 40%A fast-growing robotics and warehouse automation business is stengthening its Project Management organisation and looking to add a Director Project Management to support the delivery and execution of complex, high-value automation projects across Germany and Europe.This role is suited to an experienced Project Management Leader who has already delivered large-scale intralogistics or automation projects/programs, is comfortable operating at the sharp end of customer-facing delivery and can manage a direct team of 3-4 Project Managers.The RoleYou will take full ownership of assigned end-to-end automation projects, acting as the primary interface between customer, internal engineering teams, and external partners.
You will also act as mentor, supervisor and support to a small team of experienced Project Managers in Germany, overseeing the complete regional portfolio.
Key responsibilities include:Full lifecycle project management from handover to commissioning and final acceptanceOwnership of budget, schedule, scope, risk, and change managementCoordination of multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, software, commissioning)Senior stakeholder and customer management, including escalation handlingClose collaboration with Sales during late-stage bids and project kick-offRegular reporting to senior management on progress, risks, and financialsYour Background10+ years’ experience delivering warehouse automation or intralogistics projects for a system integrator or automation providerProven responsibility for €10M+ projects (or multiple mid-sized projects in parallel)Strong exposure to ASRS, shuttle systems, conveyors, and integrated automation solutionsCommercially confident, with experience managing variations, claims, and contract discussionsFluent in German and EnglishWilling to travel approx. 30–40%📩 Apply now to take the next step in your automation career.
