ph3Position Summary /h3pThe Intercontinental Portfolio Lead is a critical leadership role within the Intercontinental (IC) Regional Team, responsible for driving franchise performance, execution excellence, and strategic alignment across the Vaccines Infectious Disease portfolio.

They serve as the primary interface between Global Franchises and the Intercontinental Region. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliAct as the IC lead and spokesperson for the Vaccines Infectious Disease franchise. /liliLead and coordinate the IC franchise community and squads across regions. /liliDrive alignment of strategy, priorities, and execution across markets and sub-regions (CMOs/RCLs in AP, EEMEA, and LATAM). /liliRepresent IC perspectives in global discussions and governance. /liliAct as the primary interface between Global Franchises and Intercontinental, building strong partnerships across global, regional, and local stakeholders. /liliConsolidate global strategies into clear, actionable regional priorities. /liliMonitor, consolidate, and report business performance across the portfolio. /liliIdentify risks and opportunities and drive proactive course correction. /liliEnsure disciplined execution against financial and strategic objectives. /liliCoordinate regional efforts for launch readiness and launch excellence. /liliDrive lifecycle management priorities and portfolio optimization. /liliSupport execution across both launch and in-line assets. /liliLead 1–2 cross-regional strategic projects such as localizations, commercial business development, above-market partnerships, and capability deployment in coordination with cross-functional teams (Access, Policy, BD, DHH). /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliMinimum of 10 years progressive experience across marketing, sales, access, commercial operations, or related experience in a pharmaceutical or management consulting company. /liliBachelor’s degree required; Advanced degree (MBA, MSc, or equivalent) preferred. /liliProven track record in commercial strategy and execution, launch excellence and/or portfolio management, and leading complex, cross-functional initiatives. /liliExposure to multiple markets and diverse healthcare systems. /liliDepth of Therapeutic Area expertise in Vaccines Infectious Diseases. /liliIntercontinental region experience and strong understanding of the Intercontinental business. /liliDepth of Marketing, Market Access understanding and PL management. /liliLeadership experience with high-performance teams and driving business results. /liliStrong collaboration and influence skills across commercial and cross-divisional teams. /liliExcellent communication and strategic thinking abilities. /liliCapacity to challenge status-quo and push initiatives forward. /li /ulh3Travel Location /h3pUp to 30‑50% travel required. /ppPreferred location: Lucerne, Switzerland (Intercontinental HQ).

Relocation support can be provided to the successful candidate. /ph3Benefits /h3pSalary range: $190,800.00 – $300,300.00.
