Job Description Summary
Join Novartis Biomedical Research to shape the future of portfolio management enablement. This leadership role sets the strategy for portfolio processes, governance, analytics and AI-enabled decision support across Biomedical Research.
Location: Basel, Switzerland #LI-Hybrid
Key Responsibilities
• Own the portfolio management enablement strategy and roadmap.
• Drive governance, process excellence and data integrity.
• Champion adoption of analytics and AI-enabled decision support solutions.
• Partner with senior leaders across BR, Development and Strategy & Growth.
• Lead change management and capability adoption initiatives.
What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Life Sciences, Business or related field.
• 10+ years in pharmaceutical R&D with portfolio/program management experience.
• Expertise in portfolio processes, governance, analytics and AI enablement.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Experience driving organizational change and cross-functional collaboration.
The base salary offered is determined based on gender‑neutral objectives, such as relevant skills, competencies and experience in accordance with the Novartis pay setting policy and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically.
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for a performance‑based bonus depending on certain performance parameters. In addition, we provide flexible and hybrid working options, where possible, and minimum 14 weeks paid parental leave.
