Description Job Summary: Our fast-growing startup is seeking an experienced and motivated Dir. of Software Engineering to lead our software engineering team. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, and design, to ensure our software is innovative, scalable, and meets customer needs.
You will also be responsible for establishing engineering best practices and managing the software engineering team to ensure successful product delivery. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of software engineers to deliver high-quality software products on time and within budget.
Define and drive the software engineering strategy and roadmap, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with the overall company vision and goals. Collaborate with product management and design teams to ensure software products meet customer needs and are delivered with a high level of quality.
Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.

Interopay offers full services payment services for mid-market companies. As a Dir. of Software Engineering, you will oversee the development, testing, and deployment of our software products. Establish and implement best practices for software engineering, including coding standards, testing methodologies, and software development processes.
Ensure software products are scalable, reliable, and maintainable, and meet or exceed performance requirements. Recruit, hire, and retain top engineering talent, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and innovation.
Manage engineering resources, including budgets, schedules, and resource allocation, to ensure successful delivery of software products. Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and processes to improve software development efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
Strong technical expertise in software development, including expertise in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or Ruby. Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Kanban. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance technical and business considerations.
Experience in startup environments, with a demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality software products in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Familiarity with payments and accounting is a plus. Salary $130,000 - $180,000 per year #J-18808-Ljbffr
