This role will partner with senior stakeholders to ensure predictable, efficient, and high-quality execution across the full project lifecycle from early development through to commissioning and handover. /ppbLocation: /b Flexible – this role can be based from any PM Group office across our global network. /ppClosing date for applications is bFriday 31st July /b. /p br/b Responsibilities /bbr/br/pbLeadership Strategy: /b /pliDefine and deliver a best-in-class project controls strategy aligned to regional and organisational goals /liliEstablish governance, standards, best practices and processes to drive consistency and performance across all projects /liliPartner with executive leadership to support strategic decision-making and delivery planning /liliBuild, lead, and develop a high-performing, internationally distributed team /liliFoster strong collaboration across functions creating a consistent approach to project controls. /liliChampion diversity, equity, inclusion, and a positive team culture throughout the organisation /lip bProject Controls Excellence: /b /pliOversee planning, scheduling, cost management, procurement, and contract administration /liliEnsure robust project execution strategies and resource planning across programmes /liliProvide expert oversight and peer review to identify risk and optimisation opportunities /liliImplement progress measurement frameworks with regional benchmarking to monitor productivity, performance, and milestone adherence /liliDrive data driven cost optimisation initiatives and regional cost benchmarking /liliDrive standardisation across multiple projects and geographies /lipbPerformance, Risk Reporting: /b /pliImplement data-driven frameworks to monitor cost, schedule, and productivity performance /liliLead risk management across the project portfolio, including mitigation and reporting strategies /liliDeliver clear, accurate, and timely reporting to executive stakeholders /liliMaintain cost intelligence and drive continuous cost optimisation /liliChampion a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous enhancement across all delivery functions. /lipQbuality, Governance Compliance: /b /pliEstablish and enforce QA/QC standards across all delivery phases /liliEnsure compliance with regulatory, contractual, and internal requirements /liliLead audits and embed continuous improvement initiatives /lipbDigital Transformation Innovation: /b /pliChampion the use of digital tools, automation, and analytics in project controls /liliEnhance reporting, transparency, and decision-making through real-time data /liliDrive process improvement and operational efficiency across the function /lipbStakeholder Supply Chain Engagement /b /pliCollaborate closely with project, construction, and commercial teams /liliSupport procurement strategies and contractor selection /liliBuild strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders /li br/b Qualifications /bbr/br/bQualifications Experience /bliDegree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline /liliExtensive experience in project controls, programme management, or major capital projects /liliProven leadership experience in complex construction environments (e.g. data centres, pharma, infrastructure, or mission-critical projects) /liliExpertise in planning, cost control, risk management, and reporting systems /liliStrong understanding of regional construction markets and regulatory environments /liliTrack record of driving standardisation, transformation, and performance improvement /liliExceptional stakeholder management and communication skills /liliStrong competency in governance, process improvement, digital transformation, and risk-based decision making /lipbKey Attributes /b /pliExcellent communicator and client-facing leader. /liliResults-oriented, with a focus on measurable outcomes and continuous improvement. /liliCollaborative, adaptable, and resilient—able to inspire teams and navigate change. /liliPassionate about technology and its potential to transform business operations. /li Reporting to the PMC Director is a unique opportunity to shape and grow our Data Centre division, delivering for the best clients in Europe. /ppThis is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving consistency, governance, and performance across planning, cost management, risk, procurement, and project delivery.
