This role is also responsible for coordinating efforts with the VP of Payer Relations and sales leadership. /p h3Essential Functions And Duties /h3 ul liDevelops and maintains profitable business relationships with key payer organizations /li liDesigns and implements strategies to meet or exceed goals for targeted accounts /li liCreates and maintains strategic account maintenance and business development plans /li liIdentifies and builds rapport with key decision makers to form successful business relationships, identify opportunities and meet customer needs /li liMeet in person with top 5 accounts annually /li liEvaluates, negotiates and implements contracts with assigned target prospects /li liCollaborates with various internal departments to increase access in strategic target markets /li liMeets regularly with VP of Payer Relations to review goals and evaluate success /li liParticipates in planning and development sessions for overall department strategy /li liMaintains awareness of marketplace trends affecting overall business strategy and makes recommendations for re-focus and adjustments /li liManages the administrative requirements of the position /li liParticipates in solution development initiatives and department process improvement /li liAutomobile and airplane travel will be required and may be up to 10% /li /ul h3Excellent Benefits /h3 ul limedical, dental, and vision coverage /li lia 401k plan with an employer match, paid time off /li liemployer-paid life and disability insurance with additional buy-up coverage options /li lituition and continuing education reimbursement /li liother voluntary benefits /li lian annual bonus may be paid to eligible employees based on organizational and individual performance /li liEmployees and their family members have full access to our Employee Assistance Program, which includes resources for work/life solutions, such as one free legal consultation and referrals for emotional support/counseling /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 h3General QualificationsMinimum Education and/or Certification: /h3 ul liBachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent work experience /li /ul h3Required /h3 ul li3-5 years of working in a laboratory or health plan or /li li1-3 years of direct contracting with health plans on behalf of a laboratory /li liKnowledge of managed care, provider reimbursement and contracting, and healthcare trends /li liExperience calling on C-level executives /li liContract review, negotiation and implementation /li liBusiness contacts within the industry (Commercial health plans, Government plans/programs, Managed Care Organizations, ACOs, CIN’s etc.) /li /ul h3Required Skills /h3 ul liBusiness acumen /li liMajor account sales experience /li liAbility to close business deals /li liHighly organized /li liSelf-starter, highly motivated /li liTeam oriented /li liThe ability to establish and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders /li liExcellent written and oral communications skills, interpersonal influencing skills /li liThe ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines, particularly in a high volume setting /li liStrong MS Office skills: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams /li liCRM experience /li liAbility to work under minimal supervision /li /ul h3Preferred /h3 ul liKnowledge of the laboratory services industry /li liToxicology experience is a plus /li liMicrosoft Power BI experience /li /ul h3Physical Requirements /h3 ul liProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer /li liProlonged periods of communicating on a telephone and via Teams /liliMust be able to lift 25 pounds at times /li liMust be able to travel in a personal automobile and travel via airplane, as needed /li /ul pApplicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.

We are a premier urine drug testing/toxicology laboratory serving Addiction/ Substance Use Disorder Treatment, MAT + OTP Clinics and in Pain Management settings.

Dominion Diagnostics currently has labs in over 30 states across the country. /p h3Position Summary /h3 pThe Payer Relations Director is responsible for executing department strategy to retain and increase market access in specific regions by calling on, planning, negotiating and contracting with health plans.
