The client is seeking a Director of Finance & Audit to provide Board-level oversight of financial governance, controls, and sustainability. This role will support the Board in maintaining financial integrity and supporting long-term viability through informed guidance on financial matters and risks.
Key responsibilities include overseeing financial governance, control systems, and reporting; reviewing budgets, financial statements, and cash flow; supporting audit readiness and financial compliance; and advising the Board on financial risks and their implications.
The Director of Finance & Audit will engage with the Finance & Audit Committee in an oversight capacity to help ensure strong financial stewardship. The role is suited to a professional background in finance, accounting, or senior financial management, along with an understanding of financial governance and risk.
