Develop and execute a holistic communications strategy across all key channels Manage and further develop social media channels, website, and newsletter Draft press releases and maintain media contacts Create an annual communications plan in close coordination with senior management and the management board Coordinate the creation of content (text, images, and video as needed) for online and print formats Build up and implement an integrated strategy for brand visibility and thought leadership in the quantum space, including leading the creation of high-quality publications (e.g., MQV summits, executive roundtables, fundraising campaigns) as part of annual event planning, and represent MQV at relevant national and international conferences and trade shows together with the outreach team Oversee and coordinate all internal and external communications activities, and analyze and report on marketing metrics Identify and evaluate research findings in quantum science, and translate them into accessible journalistic formats and presentation styles for original content published across the web portal, affiliated websites, social media channels, and press releases Monitor and evaluate media trends Your qualifications: Advanced University Degree (Master's or PhD) in communication, marketing, media, or a comparable field Proven professional experience in marketing or public relations, ideally in the non-profit and/or research sector Strategic thinking and a hands-on approach Excellent writing and communication skills in English and German Experience with social media, CMS systems, and common marketing tools Alignment with the values and goals of a non-profit and research organization What we offer in return: A curiosity-driven, technology-focused research and development environment with an international team of scientists and researchers in the growing MQV gGmbH and its partner institutions The opportunity to shape the highly dynamic and productive MQV quantum computing landscape in Munich, one of the leading centers for quantum technologies A dynamic, multidisciplinary environment at the Garching Research Campus, one of Europe's most advanced centers for education, research, development and entrepreneurship with internationally renowned institutes in the field of quantum technologies A competitive salary in accordance with TV-L, tailored to reflect your experience, qualifications and skill level An interdisciplinary working environment with opportunities for further development The position is to be filled as soon as possible and will remain open until September 30, 2026.

The Munich Quantum Valley (MQV) gGmbH is a non-profit organization supported by the Bavarian state government as part of the Hightech Agenda Bavaria. Its mission is to develop quantum computing demonstrators based on superconducting qubits and neutral atoms and to make them available for applications in science and industry.
