The Role & What You Will Be DoingAs Director Market Access – Innovative Products, you will play a pivotal role in launching Viatris’ innovative pipeline in Germany. This is a strategically critical responsibility, requiring deep expertise in Market Access, reimbursement, and HTA—particularly navigating AMNOG and the benefit assessment procedure at the Gemeinsamer Bundesausschuss (G‑BA).

Beyond Germany, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to Market Access strategy across the DACH region, including Austria and Switzerland, making it an exciting next career step for experienced Senior Market Access Managers ready to expand their strategic impact and leadership responsibilities .

In this role you will:Lead cross-functional launch project groups for all innovative products, collaborating closely with Medical Affairs, Governmental & Public Affairs, Operational, and Commercial teamsRepresent the German affiliate in regional and global Market Access groups and meetingsDevelop and drive comprehensive Market Access strategies tailored to the German market, ensuring launch readiness by leading the creation of AMNOG dossiers aligned with global and local brand strategiesPrepare and implement robust Market Access plans to optimize reimbursement and market developmentShape and localize global value stories to strengthen product differentiation, prevent price erosion, and broaden access within the German healthcare systemLead and execute evidence generation strategies to ensure payer and HTA requirements are embedded early and consistently throughout the product

lifecycleCreate compelling payer value propositions and design innovative reimbursement mechanisms for diverse stakeholders in the German healthcare environmentPartner with key payers to co-develop integrated solutions and value modulesEngage regularly with key internal stakeholders, including the managing director and communications, and contribute to national and international Market Access forumsSupport brand planning and portfolio assessments, influencing strategic decisions through Market Access insights About Your Skills & ExperienceFor this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Natural Sciences, Medicine, Health Economics, Public Health, Health Policy, Business Administration or Law5–7 years of professional experience in Market Access, pricing & reimbursement,

HTA or related functions within the pharmaceutical industry, payers, consultancies or healthcare institutionsStrong hands‑on experience with AMNOG procedures and German benefit assessmentsProven track record in successfully securing reimbursement for new, innovative productsSolid background in evidence‑based medicine, public health and/or health economicsStrong stakeholder management skills and experience working with senior internal and external partnersExcellent German and English communication skillsStrategic mindset, entrepreneurial attitude and the ability to navigate complex environmentsThis role is based in Bad Homburg
