Due to their expansion plans they are looking for a pragmatic, hands‑on Legal Compliance Director to oversee its Legal Compliance department. /p h3Job Description /h3 ul liDesign and execute the legal and compliance strategy, maintaining controls, regulatory registers, incidents and remediation tracking. /li liLead AML KYC across client and investor onboarding, including sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, and escalation of suspicious activity. /li liEnsure end‑to‑end regulatory compliance with Swiss FINMA requirements and coordinate governance funds including fund structuring. /li liAct as a trusted legal and commercial advisor, drafting and negotiating, distribution and trading agreements, documentation and commercial contracts. /li liDrive legal strategy and execution for fundraising initiatives, leading investor negotiations and facilitating the successful conversion of prospective investors. /li liOversee cross‑border distribution and marketing controls, including EU distribution rules, target market/suitability assessments, and marketing material reviews. /li liServe as the main point of contact for regulators, auditors, and external counsel, managing regulatory interactions and audits with confidence. /li /ul h3The Successful Applicant /h3 ul liUniversity degree in Law, further education is an advantage /li li10‑15 years of experience in legal and compliance roles within an asset management or preferably in a private equity firm /li liHands‑on experience working with Luxembourg fund structures, combined with solid, practical exposure to Swiss FINMA regulation. /li liSolution‑oriented mindset, with the ability to draft and negotiate complex agreements while applying sound, pragmatic risk judgment. /li liDemonstrated leadership capability, including managing small teams /li liA strong team player with interpersonal skills and to engage with internal stakeholders, regulators and external parties. /li liFluency in German and English are a must have. /li /ul h3What's on Offer /h3 ul liCoverage of a diverse set of legal work with direct influence on the firm's regulatory and legal framework. /li liHigh visibility role working closely with executive management and cross‑border stakeholders. /li liAttractive compensation package and long‑term career development /li /ul /p
