Key Responsibilities Lead the execution of domestic and cross-border M&A transactions across the DACH region.

The team advises on some of the most high-profile strategic transactions across Europe and is particularly active within Industrials, Infrastructure, Energy Transition and broader real assets sectors, which continue to be among the most active advisory verticals in the market.

Manage transaction teams, overseeing financial analysis, valuation work, due diligence processes and negotiation support. Mentor, develop and manage Associates and Vice Presidents within the team. Partner with sector teams and international colleagues on complex cross-border assignments.

International platform with extensive cross-border transaction opportunities. Director, Investment Banking M&A (DACH) Frankfurt, Germany About the Opportunity A leading global independent investment bank is seeking to appoint a Director to its Frankfurt-based M&A franchise.

This individual will play a key role in originating and executing complex M&A transactions across the DACH region, working closely with senior bankers, corporate leaders, private equity investors, and financial sponsors.

This opportunity is suited to an experienced investment banking professional looking to take on greater client responsibility, lead transaction execution, develop junior talent, and contribute meaningfully to the continued growth of a premier M&A platform in the DACH market.

Drive client dialogue with corporates, private equity sponsors and infrastructure investors. Originate new business opportunities through existing and developing client relationships. Lead the preparation and delivery of strategic advisory presentations, board materials and marketing documents.

Contribute to franchise-building initiatives and support the expansion of the firm's DACH advisory presence. Candidate Requirements Essential 8-12+ years of investment banking experience gained within a leading M&A advisory platform. Significant transaction execution and client management experience within Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Strong DACH corporate network and proven ability to develop trusted client relationships. Extensive experience leading M&A transactions from origination through to completion. Excellent financial modelling, valuation and strategic advisory skills. Native or fluent German and professional-level English.

Demonstrated leadership capability and experience managing junior bankers.
