Direct message the job poster from Brock & Decker Position: Director, Head of Commercial & Industrial Investments Reporting to: CEO Overview A private equity–backed renewable energy investment platform is seeking a senior investment professional to lead its Commercial and Industrial (C&I) solar investment strategy across Europe.

The role will focus on origination, structuring, and execution of distributed solar PV, battery storage, and related energy transition assets.

Key Responsibilities • • Lead the firm’s investment strategy for C&I solar, storage, and distributed generation assets across target markets. • Identify, evaluate, and execute equity and structured investments in distributed energy portfolios and platforms. • Oversee due diligence, valuation, and financial structuring for new investments. • Prepare and present investment papers for the Investment Committee. • Manage the full investment lifecycle, from origination through execution, asset optimization, and exit.

Origination & Partnerships • • Build and maintain relationships with solar developers, EPCs, technology providers, and corporate offtakers. • Negotiate PPAs, lease structures, and joint ventures to secure high-quality C&I solar and storage opportunities. • Identify opportunities for platform acquisitions, portfolio aggregation, and strategic partnerships.

Candidate Profile Experience & Skills • • 10–15 years of experience in renewable energy investments, project finance, or infrastructure private equity, with a strong background in solar PV and distributed generation. • Proven track record of sourcing, structuring, and closing transactions across multiple jurisdictions. • Deep understanding of C&I solar PPA structures, lease-based models, and decentralized energy economics. • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and negotiation skills. xayajpt • Experience managing developer relationships and coordinating due diligence processes.
