Overview
Lead FCC’s government relations strategy across Western Canada, advancing strategic priorities and strengthening relationships with federal, provincial, territorial, Indigenous, and industry stakeholders.
As a trusted strategic advisor, you will provide senior executives with insight on public policy, political dynamics, parliamentary affairs, and reputational risks that may affect FCC’s mandate, operations, and licence to operate.
Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of government relations strategies aligned with FCC priorities. Advise senior executives on political, public policy, parliamentary, and stakeholder issues. Anticipate emerging legislative, regulatory, and parliamentary developments that could impact FCC.
Lead government relations support for parliamentary affairs, ministerial requests, and committee activities. Lead the development of executive briefings, presentations, and strategic advice materials. Represent FCC in meetings, consultations, and stakeholder forums.
