Deputy Regional Finance Director (m/f/d)
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist the Regional Finance Director in managing local finance personnel, building and developing a localized finance team.
• Lead local accounting operations, ensuring that budgeting and accounting comply with local financial and tax regulations, and that financial disclosures and audits are conducted on time.
• Oversee local tax management, including tax filings, tax payments, main tax reconciliation, and maintaining relationships with tax authorities.
Manage tax risks and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate and communicate with external institutions such as auditors, legal advisors, and banks to ensure smooth external cooperation.
• Promote the localization and adaptation of internal control processes, ensuring that corporate standards are effectively implemented at the local level.
• Actively participate in the digitalization of financial operations, and promote the implementation and usage of digital financial systems in the local office.
• Work closely with headquarters and regional teams, serving as a key communication and coordination point for all finance-related matters.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum 5 years of experience in local financial management and personnel supervision; experience working in a multinational enterprise is preferred.
• Familiarity with local GAAP and international accounting standards.
• Solid understanding of local tax policies and hands-on tax management experience.
• Proficient in German and English, with business-level communication skills.
