A Qualified Candidate Must Possess The Following • One (1) year of managerial experience which includes executive knowledge and ability to perform Family, Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) functions for a garrison (e.g. integrate plans into appropriated and Nonappropriated fund annual operating budgets, review program changes, evaluate goal achievement and program execution, etc.) In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": • Senior level leadership experience overseeing multiple programs, facilities, or multi site operations, including supervision of program managers or large NAF/APF teams • Demonstrated experience across multiple DFMWR program areas (such as CYS, ACS, Business Operations, Operations, Events, Fitness, Recreation, or Outdoor Recreation), including knowledge of applicable regulations, compliance requirements, and inspection processes (e.g., AR 215 1, AR 608 1, CIP, audits) • Experience managing NAF/APF financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, procurement/contracting processes, and improving operational or cost recovery performance • Experience leading strategic planning, coordinating with installation partners, and communicating effectively with senior leaders to develop, expand, or execute major DFMWR programs, services, or events in an overseas or host nation environment.

Duties • Serves as a full Deputy to the D(FMWR) for a large/mega large garrison by performing a variety of duties in the short and long range planning, coordination, and daily oversight of all matters pertaining to the Directorate. • Integrates plans into appropriated and nonappropriated fund annual operating budgets. • Reviews program changes and discusses changes in goals and objectives with activity managers and supervisors, ensuring objectives and goals are attainable and economically feasible. • Evaluates goal achievement and program execution.

Requirements Conditions of employment • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required. • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. • A one-year probationary period may be required. • Ability to obtain and maintain both a valid USAREUR driver's license and a TMP license. • Physically capable of lifting and carrying objects weighting up to 40 lbs. • Willing to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450 and Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually, in accordance with DoD directives.

Allowances and Differentials • This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. . • Foreign overseas allowances, post allowance, and differentials will be paid, contingent upon eligibility.

These allowances may include Living Quarters Allowance (LQA), Temporary Quarters Subsistence Allowance (TQSA) and requires a Transportation Agreement in accordance (IAW) the provisions of the Department of States Standardized Regulations (DSSR).
