This position is located at the Kleber Child Development Center (CDC) in Kaiserslautern, Germany.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Education: Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in child development, early childhood education, elementary or secondary education, home economics (early childhood emphasis), elementary education, special education, or other fields appropriate to the position. - For positions in Child Development Facilities: The education must have been in child development, early childhood education, home economics (early childhood emphasis), elementary education, special education or other fields appropriate to the position to be filled such as directly related behavioral science.
OR one of the following: Combination of education and experience as stated below in Option 1 & 2: Option 1: A combination of education and experience. Education: 24 semester hours in the majors stated above or a related field (see above), plus appropriate experience.
Experience: Candidate must also possess all of the following: 1. 12 months experience working in group programs with children/youth as well as demonstrated knowledge in theories and principals of child growth/youth development of which 6 months must be in a supervisory position. 2. The McCormick Credential.
OR Option 2: A combination of education and experience. Education: 24 semester hours in the majors stated above or a related field (see above), plus appropriate experience. Experience: Candidate must also possess all of the following: 1.
At least 12 months experience working in group programs with children/youth as well as demonstrated knowledge in theories and principals of child growth/youth development of which 12 months must be in a supervisory position.
