Position Tableau and Data Cloud as essential enablers for AI readiness and public sector modernization. Ecosystem Orchestration: Collaborate across a matrixed organization (Solution Engineers, Customer Success, and the Salesforce Public Sector team) to deliver a "One Salesforce" experience.

In this strategic overlay role, you will partner with Account Executives to lead data and analytics transformations across federal and cantonal/state governments, education, healthcare, and public utilities. Your Impact You are the primary authority for Tableau within the Alpine region.

You don’t just sell a tool; you shape the vision for how data enables smarter policy‑making and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Specialist Sales Execution: Partner with Account Executives to build and close a high‑impact Tableau pipeline.

Lead sophisticated product demonstrations, custom Proof‑of‑Values (PoV), and tailored executive presentations. Strategic Customer Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to CDOs, CIOs, and Heads of Digitalization.

Solution Vision: Translate complex public sector challenges—such as eGovernment initiatives, open data mandates, and reporting obligations—into compelling, actionable visual use cases.

Partner Alignment: Engage with local systems integrators and consultancies specializing in the Swiss and Austrian public sectors (SIMAP/BVergG focus) to accelerate joint opportunities. Operational Excellence: Maintain rigorous forecasting and opportunity management within your portfolio using the Salesforce CRM.

What We're Looking For Expertise: Proven experience in a specialist sales or overlay role, specifically within Data, Analytics, or Enterprise SaaS (BI, Data Platforms, or AI‑driven insights).

Public Sector Fluency: Deep understanding of the public sector landscape in Switzerland and/or Austria , including specific procurement frameworks (e.g., SIMAP/WTO in CH; BVergG in AT). The "Data Storyteller": Ability to command a room of senior stakeholders, translating technical data capabilities into tangible business and societal value.
