We are looking for you to join HOCHTIEF Infrastructure GmbH in Berlin as a Civil Engineer (m/f/d) as Project Director / Project Manager (m/f/d) Data Center Your Responsibilities • Overall responsibility for the successful delivery of a strategic large-scale data center project • Lead and manage the entire project team throughout all project phases • Ensure project delivery in accordance with schedule, budget, quality requirements, and the highest safety standards • Take responsibility for the project's commercial performance, risk management, and contract management • Oversee planning, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover activities • Represent HOCHTIEF towards clients, authorities, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders • Build and develop high-performing project teams while fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence Your Profile • Successfully completed degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable discipline • Extensive leadership experience in managing large and complex construction projects, ideally in the data center or high-tech sector • Proven track record in delivering major projects with a value exceeding €500 million • Several years of experience in senior project leadership positions • Strong expertise in project management, contract management, and risk management • Experience with international contract forms (e.g., FIDIC, NEC) is an advantage • Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken • Responsibility for one of the most strategically important data center projects within the HOCHTIEF Group • A key role in the continued growth of the Data Center & Advanced Technology business • Challenging large-scale projects with high visibility across the organization • Significant scope for decision-making and personal impact • Collaboration with highly qualified national and international experts • Individual development and career opportunities within the HOCHTIEF Group • Attractive remuneration package and performance-related benefits • 30 days of annual leave plus additional bridge days • Mobility & flexibility benefits, including the Germany Ticket, JobRad bicycle leasing, and mobile working options • Additional employee benefits across a wide range of areas, such as EGYM Wellpass Who we are: HOCHTIEF is an engineering-led global infrastructure solutions provider with leading positions in North America, Australia and Europe and a rapidly expanding presence in strategic growth sectors including advanced-technology, energy transition, and sustainable infrastructure markets.
