Posted 04 September 2026 Salary Up to €1 per annum + Hybrid + Excellent Benefits Location Düsseldorf Job type Permanent Discipline Banking Operations Reference PB0409_1788543259 Location Germany, Dusseldorf - Hybrid working Languages Fluent in both German and English is essential Essential Background Proven Business Development and Sales experience, well connected in a number of the following areas; direct lending, private credit, insurance companies, institutional Investors, Pension Funds, FI's, Banks and Asset Managers Role Purpose Target the German and European market generating new business opportunities for the firm with a particular focus on Portfolio Management mandates - Private credit, direct lending, insurance companies, institutional Investors, Pension Funds, FI's, Banks and Asset Managers KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Establish new client relationships for the firm and maintain existing client relationships • Develop business opportunities and market these opportunities to clients/client groups • Interact with group marketing team and provide guidance on Portfolio Management specific initiatives and services • Support new business infrastructure set-up • Support group units with New Business generation and onboarding • Identify business opportunities, prepare marketing materials & decks and manage client communication & follow ups • Establish a regular communication process with the business unit heads to understand on which products and strategies they are working and how best to support marketing efforts and priorities. • Provide aid with the organising and coordinating of the signing of contractual agreements ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED • New Business Generation - Experienced in Sales/Business development across the German and European markets with extensive connections in a number of the following areas; direct lending, private credit, insurance companies, institutional Investors, Pension Funds, FI's, Banks and Asset Managers • Very good understanding about the potential client's business in order to prepare on the spot presentations/marketing material and client offers • Negotiating skills in client meetings • Very good presentation skills • Good knowledge of international legal systems/documentation, economics and accounting standards • Team player within Portfolio Management; flexible; ability to work independently and across locations; well organised; able to prioritise and meet deadlines; ability to work proactively in a team, help colleagues, provide direction • Keep up to date knowledge, skills and markets • Ability to work in a multicultural and international environment Up to €1 per annum + Hybrid + Excellent Benefits Up to £35000 per annum + Bonus, Hybrid working, pension Follow us on social media for updates on our latest opportunities, market trends and what it's like to work with us.
