We are seeking a scientifically driven Associate Director to lead our Computational Biology team focused on Inflammatory and Respiratory diseases in Biberach.
In this role, you will be part of a global team driving computational innovation in drug discovery, collaborating with scientists across the global Inflammatory and Respiratory therapeutic area to identify and validate novel drug targets, and accelerating discovery using advanced data science and computational biology approaches.
Tasks & Responsibilities Lead and mentor a high‑performing team of computational biologists to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and scientific excellence.
You will champion the integration of multi‑omics, human genetics, imaging, and clinical data with cutting‑edge computational approaches as a foundation to drive innovation by leveraging both internal and external collaborations and capabilities.
As a key member of our growing Computational Innovation Department (computationalinnovation), you will shape the strategic direction of computational biology within Inflammatory and Respiratory diseases, contributing to the discovery and development of transformative therapies that improve patients‘ lives.
