Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing / Assistant Person in Charge to support the leadership and day-to-day management of a well-established nursing home dedicated to delivering exceptional care to older people.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated nurse looking to further develop their leadership career within residential care. Support compliance with HIQA standards, governance and quality initiatives. Assist with staff supervision, mentoring and performance management. Monitor clinical documentation, care planning and medication management.
Promote infection prevention, health and safety and safeguarding best practice. Act as Person in Charge in the absence of the Director of Nursing. Requirements
Registered General Nurse with active NMBI registration. Previous leadership experience within a nursing home setting. Strong understanding of HIQA standards and regulatory requirements.
