The Assistant Director of Development serves as a strategic partner to the Director of Development in advancing sustainable Ministry Partnership Development (MPD) across the Mid-Atlantic Region.
This position provides operational, coaching, and programmatic leadership for the Access Pathway Fellows (APF) Network Capacity Building Program while supporting regional fundraising initiatives, donor engagement events, and staff development efforts.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Assistant Director of Development advances the mission of InterVarsity by helping under‑networked staff develop sustainable support‑raising capacity, cultivating strategic partnerships, and strengthening the infrastructure necessary for long‑term ministry growth.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Access Pathway Fellows Program Leadership (50%) Assist in the administration and implementation of the APF Network Capacity Building Program. Track participant progress toward individualized fundraising and development benchmarks. Provide one‑on‑one coaching to APF participants as assigned.
